Founded in 1993, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) is one of the five futures exchanges in the Chinese mainland. With the mission to serve the real economy, DCE has become a major futures trading center in China after 29 years of regulated operation and steady development. In 2021, DCE was ranked 9th worldwide in terms of trading volume, becoming a major futures market for agricultural products, plastics, coke, coal and iron ore in the world. I. Basic Requirements

1. Strong work ethic

Consciously abide by laws and regulations of People’s Republic of China and DCE’s organizational disciplines; care about and support the development of China’s derivatives market;

Have a teamwork spirit with integrity, diligence and dedication;

Be self-disciplined, and have a good reputation.

2. Good educational background

Master’s degree or above from well-known universities and colleges at home and abroad, with good communication skills in both Chinese and English.

3. Industrial experience and strong management skills

At least seven years of position-related work experience in domestic or foreign financial regulators, industry self-regulatory organizations, financial operating institutions, accounting firms, law firms, listed companies, information technology enterprises, governmental departments of economy and science, universities, colleges or research institutes, etc.

Must have stayed in the same institution for over three consecutive years in middle management or professional and technical posts; or worked full time in international organizations, well-known international enterprises, overseas commercial financial institutions or financial regulators for more than three years.

4. Physical and mental health

Aged under 40 years old (born after January 1, 1982, with appropriate flexibility for particularly outstanding candidates), and is physically and mentally healthy.

5. Not involved with any employment restrictions as stipulated by China Security Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and DCE.

II. Positions

1. Foreign-related Legal Affairs Expert: 1 person

Responsibilities:

Lead the research of domestic and overseas futures and derivatives markets legal policies and exchange rules;

Cooperate with regulators and legislators in formulating and revising industry-related laws and regulatory policies; studying and optimizing exchange contract rules;

Lead the handling of various foreign-related litigation or non-litigation legal affairs of the exchange.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or above in law;

At least seven years of work experience in foreign-related legal affairs in domestic or foreign law firms, international organizations, government departments of economy and science, universities, colleges, research institutes, financial regulators or overseas exchanges, etc.

Must have stayed in the same institution for over three consecutive years in middle management or professional and technical posts, and at least three consecutive years of full-time work experience in legal affairs overseas.

Must master financial and legal expertise of common law countries; be familiar with international legal system and legal affairs; understand securities and futures regulatory policies in overseas markets; possess solid knowledge reserve and outstanding professional skills in law, strong analytical skills, ability to study and research, good communication and coordination skills.

2. Technical Architect: 1 person

Responsibilities:

Design and optimize the technical architecture of the exchange’s trading, clearing, monitoring, data and other systems;

Provide products of solutions, participate in decision making of major technical projects, and conduct application research of cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or above in majors related to computer science; at least seven years of experience in information technology application or core system development in domestic or overseas well-known financial institutions, technology companies or overseas exchanges;

Must have stayed in the same institution for at least three consecutive years in middle management or professional technical posts, and at least three consecutive years of full-time relevant work experience overseas;

Must be familiar with the business and technical architecture of trading, clearing, monitoring and data systems of overseas derivatives markets;

Must be proficient in database and development architecture; possess strong skills in analyzing business requirements and systems, in learning and innovation, in team management, communication and coordination; and be updated with the latest trends of technology development.

3. Data Architect: 1 person

Responsibilities:

Apply technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence in data analysis and mining of the exchange, design and implement data products to realize smarter supervision and business with the use of data.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or above in computer science, data science, big data or other related majors;

At least seven years of relevant experience in data science in domestic or overseas well-known financial institutions, consulting firms, technology companies, government departments of economy and science, financial regulators or overseas exchanges;

Must have stayed in the same institution for at least three consecutive years in middle management or professional technical posts, and at least three consecutive years of full-time relevant work experience overseas;

Must be familiar with big data architecture and data analysis systems in overseas financial industry; possess solid foundation of statistics knowledge and programming skills; have strong skills in analyzing business requirements and systems, in learning and innovation, in team management, communication and coordination.
